Helen counselling profile

Hello

My name is Helen and I'm an experienced, Integrative Counsellor based in Horsham, West Sussex.

I provide therapeutic support for adults, teenagers and children.

I offer a safe, confidential, non-judgemental space where you can slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing and begin to find a way forward.

I offer in person, online and telephone counselling. I also offer walk & talk sessions in local parks.

If you're wondering whether counselling might be right for you, I'd be glad to hear from you.

My Story

I am a Middlesex University trained counsellor. I'm a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), the ACC, and am fully insured.

I use an Integrative Counselling approach, which means I draw on different therapeutic approaches and tailor our work to you, your individual needs and what feels most helpful for you. My aims are to help you untangle difficult thoughts you might be having, support you with developing effective ways of coping with the challenges you are facing, and to create space for you to develop a sense of inner safety.

I offer therapeutic support to those who are experiencing bereavement, trauma, low mood, anxiety, stress, relational issues, big life changes, or that sense of simply feeling overwhelmed.

I have a special interest in neurodivergence, including Autism & ADHD. I offer a space where you can feel understood, explore your relationships and sense of identity, and make sense of the experiences that are uniquely yours.

The first step is to reach out and book in a free 20 minute online call. This will give you an opportunity to explore your reasons for seeking counselling, and see if we will be a good fit for your therapeutic journey. Here, you can ask any questions that you might have, then if you feel comfortable, we can arrange a first session together.
